Day 6 - Kibuye circular ride

Kibuye's lake-side hotels make it worth spending two nights here!

After a hearty breakfast we will ride-off, mainly uphill, towards Mount Karongi, the regions highest peak.

The ride will be challenging with amazing views.

After a pique-nique lunch we will ride downhill back to Kibuye with plenty of photo opportunities along the way.

Day 7 - Espérance Children's Village

The Espérance Children's Village is a truly remarkable place that has changed the lives of so many.

After breakfast we shall ride-off along the Congo Nile Trail to Mugonero.

Lunch will be served at the Children's Village, after which we will receive a guided tour teaching us about life at Espérance.

We will have the evening meal together, freshly prepared from their very own produce!

Day 8 - Gisovu tea plantations

Those who spent only one night at Espérance, regretted not spending more!

After a breakfast including some of Rwanda's best pineapples we will ride-off uphill towards the Gisovu tea plantations.

We will pass-by the Bisesero Memorial, which can be optionally visited.

Then we will continue climbing up to the Gisovu tea plantations, on the edge of Nyungwe forest.

After all that climbing, it will be downhill all the way back to Espérance!

Day 9 - Back to Kigali

It is always difficult to leave Espérance and that is why some visitors stay for weeks!

After a healthy breakfast, we will pack our bags, put the bikes on the trailer and start the trip back to Kigali.

Following a farewell lunch together we will box-up the bikes and do the airport transfers for those who are leaving Rwanda.

Day 10+ - Optional supplements
